The Blizzard – Cloudy Groundbait Mix

The Blizzard is a simple-to-prepare, milky groundbait blend developed specifically for use as a slop over zigs, though it also works exceptionally well as a highly visible stick mix.

Its formulation combines premium milk powders with ground tiger nuts, ground hemp, coconut meal, soluble fish proteins, and concentrated crustacean extracts. Once introduced to the water, it produces a creamy-white cloud that lingers enticingly, drawing attention from passing fish.

Thanks to the composition of its ingredients, fine particles remain suspended at a range of depths. This encourages competitive feeding activity across the water column – an ideal feature when targeting fish on zigs. The inclusion of soluble fish proteins helps disperse amino acids throughout the swim, maintaining interest long after the cloud has begun to clear.

Preparation Tip:
Add water gradually, mixing until the bait reaches a smooth, soupy consistency. If left to stand, it may thicken slightly – just top up with a splash more water to bring it back to the right texture.
