The Kaizen Rod range has been under development for over four years, and with extensive input from our Team Korda anglers and product development staff, we've created an exceptional range of rods. We wanted to design premium rods that cover pretty much any carp angling situation, allowing you to accurately reach fish at range and feel comfortable playing them in.
Built on a fast-tapered profile mandrel, our high-end Kaizen rods have a 'tippy' action with most of the flex towards the tip end. This allows for better power transfer and the generation of very fast tip speeds, resulting in longer casts and faster line pick-up. Made with the best super tensile, high-grade Japanese carbon, the Kaizen rods have lighter, stiffer blanks, transferring more power into your cast with less effort, which enhances accuracy, reduces twisting and aids tip recovery. The blank is finished in durable clear matt paint, which has been extensively tank tested to ensure it is perdurable.
The Kaizen Platinum 12ft 3.5lb test curve rod is fitted with lightweight Sea-Guide TDG rings, with a 50mm butt and 16mm tip, allowing the line to 'cone' off a big pit spool to minimize resistance. The Fuji DPS seat and Japanese shrink grip handle give superior quality and grip, even when your hands or the rod are wet. The custom look is completed with aluminium trim and an etched butt cap made by JAG.
